I’m running out of time to think
of a person that will accept my invitation to interview for my 6th
article in the Bronicles. Then when I’m about to lose hope something good
happened, my cousin’s name just pop up in my head and give me a big relief.
There’s no person in this world that will turn down my invitation and the most
suitable (at the moment) for this interview other than my cousin. His name is
Kenneth Afalla. We are in the same age but we are living in a completely different
world and not to mention that we have a great number of differences. But this
article is not about us two but only about him in the music scene and some bro
stuff. How to be a so called RAKSTAR!
Interview Setting: Kenneth’s
Place at Cubao
Interviewee: Kenneth Affala
Interview Time: around 3pm
Radel: So how you doing man?
Kenneth: I’m doing great, I
actually just get back from our gig last night at Tomas
Morato and like aching
like over. I’m kinda gearing up for our gig tonight.
Radel: wow! Please introduce
yourself to our readers in the bronicles.
Kenneth: well, Hi I’m Kenneth
Afalla, lead guitarist of the band Insanara, 21 years old, RAKSTAR!!!!!!!!
Radel: alright! Actually, matagal
ko ng gustong itanong sa iyo toh insan, what is your definition of being a
RAKSTAR?
Kenneth: being RAKSTAR is not
about you being famous, for me it is simply being a cowboy yung tipong walang
kaselan selan sa katawan and only just looking for fun.
Radel: how true na yung mga
nagbabanda is babaero?
Radel: so you’re saying that this
is true??
Kenneth: hmm medyo lang kasi I
must admit it simula nung nagbanda ako talagang lumakas yung dating ko eh’ sabi
nila. Hahaha
Radel: so bro, how long have you
been here na nga pala sa pagbabanda?
Kenneth: since highschool pa,
naaargyabyadong tao dib a?
Radel: tama ka dyan bro, but no
offense do you think sa tagal mo ng nagba-banda may pag asa pa kaya kayong
Kenneth: habang may buhay may
ibang work, yung permanent?
Kenneth: ehh di pa kaya ng sched
eh hehehe, tsaka ganun talaga siguro.
Radel: anyway, there’s one thing
that I keep hearing I wonder why bros are into this thing called “number
closing” or getting numbers and for a lot of bros there you know whether a lot
of beginners are in this community you know getting numbers, it seems like it
is a big thing. At first, is it really a big thing? I mean, what do you think
about number closing?
Kenneth: hmm, well for one thing,
tingin ko, with a lot of guys are into just getting number in clubs or in doing
so called day game is the conversion rate like the girls like they get numbers
from those are actually the girls they date if any like the conversion rate is
very low like they get numbers but for some reasons they wouldn’t end up with
those girls or almost they will not see them again.
Radel: why is this so?
Kenneth: well the thing is, for
example, “oh I’ve got this number from this girl” but the reality is you have
something that will keep you away from approaching her or something to make a
few minutes of small talks and getting a number uhm It takes a little more
mechanism.
Do you follow?
Radel: yeah yeah I get it. One
last question insan, how does identity help bros to catch some chicks?
Kenneth: uhm, simple lang! for
every each identity mapa-rakstar, athlete, professional, geek, whatever meron
Simple right?
Hahhaa
Radel: wow lupet. Okay! I think
were done. Thank you very much for your time and sa pagshe-share ng yung mga
experience and stuffs mo with us, yun oh!
The interview was fun and there
some lessons that we can learn here like getting chick’s number is not that
good because it may have consequence and identity is very important to a bro.
identity will help you to become more attractive than your usual aura and don’t
forget about being a RAKSTAR. Alright! Yeahmen!!!!!!!!!
